Matthew is a Demographer and Social Researcher, with his first and second Degrees in Demography and Social Statistics from the Prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
Core Research Areas: Child and Maternal Health
Interests:Adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
Superpower: Quantitative Analysis, use of software including STATA, EPI DATA, SPSS, MORTPARK and PAS for demographic analysis and Geographical Information System (GIS) among others
He is a Professional member of Population Association of Nigeria (PAN) and an Associate member of SAYPHIN. He handles the research activities of the Organization.
Matthew derives fun from teasing his colleagues would love to be paid to travel.

Rachel Akomolafe
Program Associate, Media and Communication
Core Duties: Oversees the media coverage of the organisation’s activities; participates in the development and dissemination of the organisation’s reports; maintains AHEAD’s web and social media pages; contributes to the production of standard advocacy and communication materials; Develops, disseminates and archives minutes of operational meetings held within the organization.
Superpower: Photography, photo editing, videography and video editing.

Sola Olarewaju
Head, Program Development and Implementation
Sola Olarewaju is a dynamic researcher with a high level of professional commitment. She is a Senior Program Associate (Program Development and Implementation Coordination) at the Academy for Health Development. She holds a Masters of Public Health degree and Bachelor of Science in Family, Nutrition and Consumer Sciences (Food, Nutrition and Dietetics).
Her job entails all forms of program development and coordination in the organization. She is also knowledgeable about qualitative and quantitative data management. She has been involved in a number of national and international studies, including Orphan and Vulnerable Children Measure Evaluation and Reporting (OVC MER), Tuberculosis Quality of Care in Nigeria, Tuberculosis Knowledge, Attitude and Practices in Nigeria, etc.
Her research interests include Nutrition, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning.

Olamide Akanbi

Core Duties:Develop budgets for field activities and liaise with the finance unit; Develop and submit reports of each field activity; support the development of curriculums and manuals; Assist in the developmentof organizational and project reports and proposals.
Superpower: Provide logistical coordination and on-site support for planning and executing events.
